Pupils visit Westminster
Two of our P6 pupils visited the House of Commo
ns on Wednesday 18th January.
Eduard and James will attend the opening of an exhibition featuring the work done by last year's P5 for the 2011 Send my Sister to School campaign.
The boys were guests of Sheila Gilmore, our local MP. The picture on the right shows the boys making their speech at Parliament.
Author visit
Local author James Kilgore visited our P6 class recently to talk about his new children's novel, Soldier's Game.
The book is based on the group of footballers from Hearts FC who left their club to go and fight in the First World War.
James can be seen on the left along with James and Corin from P6, who invited him to the school.

We are a friendly, inclusive school situated in the Southside area of Edinburgh, in the shadow of Arthur's Seat.
